Saint-Gobain Building Distribution implements K8 for its Tile Group

Saint-Gobain Building Distribution's Tile Group implements K8 - the leading software solution from Kerridge Commercial Systems

(April 2005) Kerridge Commercial Systems, leading provider of fully integrated business systems for tile distributors, importers and retailers has today announced that Saint-Gobain Building Distribution has selected Kerridge Commercial Systems' K8 software solution for its growing Saint-Gobain Tile Group business, in the UK.

"The K8 solution was the right choice for us due to the sophisticated, modern features and excellent functionality coupled with the speed and ease of use that K8 offers. Kerridge Commercial Systems and K8 are the software solution in the market that has the capacity of supporting our future business requirements," explained Peter Briggs, Business Development Director, Saint-Gobain Tile Group UK.

Saint-Gobain Tile Group (SGTG) recently signed a contract with Kerridge Commercial Systems to implement the K8 software solution across their UK branch network. The roll-out of the K8 solution will start in May 2005. Over the next 9 months, some 40 branches, with over 300 users, will be live on K8.

Peter Briggs continued, "we were looking for a solution that would enable us to unify and streamline the business processes and to replace the various and disparate IT systems we had in place throughout our network. It was clear to us that the K8 solution, from Kerridge Commercial Systems, would enable us to change and, at the same time, ensure that consistent best business practice would be achieved, delivering enhanced customer service."

The excellent features of the K8 software solution will enable SGTG to realise economies of scale and efficiencies across the whole branch network, and also to better adhere to business processes with even greater efficiency, whilst at the same time ensuring their customers receive optimal service. K8 is the perfect solution, as it is continually being developed to ensure that modern technology is incorporated to deliver optimum business benefits.
