Kerridge Commercial Systems and Stamco join forces as Stamco Timber implements K8 for distribution of timber, building and garden materials

Stamco Timber, one of the South East's leading independent suppliers of timber, building and garden landscaping materials, recently signed a contract with Kerridge Commercial Systems to implement the K8 software solution.

Kerridge Commercial Systems, successful provider of fully integrated business systems for builders' merchants, has announced that Stamco Timber selected K8 to further expand the business. Stamco currently operates in Hastings and Hove and will launch a third branch in Eastbourne opening in mid 2005.

Stamco Timber, who scooped the BMN Award for the "Best Single Branch Merchant of the Year" in 2003, has grown so rapidly over the year that they are hardly likely to win that award again! Now with 50 users of the K8 solution, Stamco sees the software as the ideal solution for them to expand the company further.

Nicholas Wilde, Finance & IT Director, at Stamco says, "the company had reached the point where our existing system could not cope with our rapid business expansion. Clearly we needed to find the best product available to us and, after a thorough evaluation, we signed up with Kerridge Commercial Systems."

There are several reasons why Stamco decided to implement Kerridge Commercial Systems' K8 solution.
