Kerridge Commercial Systems recently hosted their Merchant User Day, on Wednesday 29th March, held at their campus in Hungerford, Berkshire.
Based on popular request, this event was specifically designed to focus on the needs of Kerridge Commercial Systems' merchant customers. Around 60 people from 26 companies, across the UK and Ireland attended, consisting of builders' merchants, plumbers' merchants and timber specialists.
The agenda was set by the customers via a questionnaire circulated alongside the invitation to attend. Customers rated their preferences from a wide and diverse range of presentations, workshops and demonstrations. This ensured that the itinerary was the most useful and productive for attendees. "If our customers are going to take time out of their extremely busy schedules, it was vital that their interests were at the heart of the event," explains John McCann, Marketing and PR Manager for Kerridge Commercial Systems. "I believe this factor, combined with the desire by our clients to maximise the opportunities and potential of their IT investment, led to the fantastic turnout and all-round success of the day."
After lunch, a series of 30 minute elective workshops, demonstrations and tours were available, again in-line with the feedback from the customer questionnaires. The subject areas covered included: workshops on CRM, e-Commerce, Timber and Hand Held Terminals (in relation to Warehouse Management); a demonstration of Kerridge Commercial Systems' IP Telephony offering; and a tour of the Hosting Centre. In addition, the event was supported by e-Xact, Datatrak and the Kerridge Commercial Systems' IP Surveillance team, who provided displays and demonstrations.
